Our operations director, Donna, had the idea to create a series of wines based on great virtues; characteristics vauled for promoting collective and individual greatness. The concept mirrors our own vaules as a family-owned winery. It is hope that the wines in our virtues series spark a conversation over a glass of honest, clean-crafted wine about how we can each give back, respect one another, and take the high road.
One of the most beloved additions to our Virtue Series! This luscious, full-bodied wine is produced from one of the most sought-after Howell Mountain vineyard estates.
This wine is crafted from family owned vineyards grown in the rich, volcanic soil of Sonoma Mountain. The region's volcanic origins date back 15 million years. Volcanic eruptions created the mountain's rock formations, including the basalt and volcanic ash that enrich the soil and make it perfect for wine cultivation. Sonoma Mountain's higher elevation creates cooler temperatures, which help preserve acidity and freshness in the grapes. This allows for longer ripening periods, resulting in more complex flavor profiles. The mountain’s mix of volcanic, clay, and sandy soils, influence grape development and contribute to the wine’s structure and minerality.

At over 1,400 feet above sea level, Howell Mountain’s unique microclimate and volcanic soils give its wines their remarkable intensity and structure. The vineyards enjoy cooler days, warmer nights, and limited fog, creating smaller, thicker-skinned grapes. The result? Deeply concentrated flavors, firm tannins, and a wine built to age gracefully.
We made another juicy and full-bodied vintage of Napa Valley Red Wine Blend to celebrate our club members. Flavors of dark cocoa, cherry, jam, and cedar. This 2020 vintage is Petite Verdot.
